12 years of experience in Austrian and international tourism marketing with Österreich Werbung. Including 9 years in a managerial capacity as region manager, marketing and online expert. The last 3 years, he was a member of Österreich Werbung’s management team as the divisional director for research and development. In this function he supervised tourism and trend research, the teams for business intelligence and IT service and support, as well as the team for Internet strategy. In the end, he was head of the department for Internet strategy and responsible for the further development of the online communication strategy.

Sound knowledge, experience and networks in Austrian and international tourism: member of the Management Technology Network of the European Travel Commission (ETC), member of the executive committee of the Bund österreichischer Tourismus-Manager (BÖTM), board member for the Austrian Chapter of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association (HSMA), member of the Club Tourismus, member of the Vereinigung der Fremdenverkehrsämter in Österreich (Corps Touristique).

8 years experience in landscape architecture at freiland Umweltconsulting ZT-GmbH Wien-Graz in different areas of activity:

Landscape architecture in tourism – project development, conception, design, project management, submission of application documents with authorities, funding proposals, coordination of professionals in realizing tourism projects in the alpine region. Project management for cross-border projects (Slovenia-Austria). Tenders and organization of national and Europe-wide competitions (landscape architecture / urban development, landscape architecture / dramaturgy). Participation in landscape architectural competitions (urban development / residential construction). Submission of EU funding proposals for cross-border and regional development projects (INTERREG/ ETZ, LEADER). Completion of the course in architectural competitions at the arch+ing Akademie Vienna 2009. Lecturer at the Vienna University of Technology, Institute for landscape architecture, urban development and design.
